The AATG offers a range of annual funded programs for German program support through specific opportunities for student success. These opportunities include the National German Honor Society, National German Exam, Study Abroad Programs, and Scholarships to the German-speaking world. In this session, representatives from the AATG will offer an in-depth overview of its annual offerings geared towards students, which may be used to grow and increase the visibility of the German program.
In this free webinar, AATG's Director of International Programs and Scholarships and AATG's former NGE Lead Coordinator share strategies for establishing a German National Honor Society Chapter at their institution, implementing summer study programs, and integrating the National German Exam into their program. They further explore how AATG programs can be used to promote student success in German studies and increase learner retention, and how they are designed to interact and complement one another, thus helping to create strong foundational support and breadth for the program.
