Learn how the Common Core standards can be leveraged to advocate for German. In this webinar, participants will examine the crosswalk from ACTFL to compare how World Language learning supports the literacy goals of the Common Core State Standards. The presenter will share activities and student samples to demonstrate the connection of the World Language Standards to those stated in the Common Core documentation.
Linda Zins-Adams teaches German at Highlands High School in Ft. Thomas, KY. She is a certified and trained AP consultant, reader, and reviewer for College Board and has conducted numerous state, regional and national workshops. In 2008, she SCOLT finalist for ACTFL Teacher of the Year. She has received the Distinguished Alumna from the University of Cincinnati, the Federal Republic of Germany Friendship Award, and the AATG/Goethe-Institut Certificate of Merit. She currently serves on the SCOLT executive board.
