Eligible students may be inducted into their local ΔΕΦ chapter upon registration and payment of the induction fee. The Induction Fee includes an official ΔΕΦ Membership Certificate produced with student name, chapter, school, and for the first time, a unique member roll number for membership tracking. We are now offering Digital Certificates emailed as .pdf files to the registered member advisor within 5 business days and can be printed at your convenience. Our certificates are printed on high-quality letterhead and will be sent within 5 business days of the order. We do not keep all certificates "on-file", so any replacements would be ordered separately. A digital version allows you to archive your inductees. Printed certificates include the wallet-sized official Membership Card at no charge. Membership Cards can be purchased separately at any time from our store to provide with Digital Certificates. The Delta Epsilon Phi Induction Fee must be paid for each, and every student inducted.

Please Note: Student names must be submitted using this form. Induction and registration can only be processed after receipt of student names and induction fees. Do not add multiple names in to order notes.

Delta Epsilon Phi is the only official national academic honor society for high school German Studies. Only students inducted through their institution and through the AATG may use the designation "National Academic Honors in German". Membership is granted in perpetuity through a one-time induction fee. Students who have not been inducted through the official process at AATG are not recognized as members of Delta Epsilon Phi and thus ineligible to apply to scholarships reserved for Honor Society students, such as the Käthe Wilson Summer Study Abroad Scholarship or the Delta Epsilon Phi Post-Graduate Scholarship.
As a friendly reminder, any unauthorized reproduction of Delta Epsilon Phi materials, such as chapter charters and membership certificates, is considered fraudulent. Please note that AATG receives requests for verification of membership from various sources and in these cases, we will inform schools, administrators, students, parents, and college admission offices that the student is not a legitimate member of The National German Honor Society. We always want to avoid those situations.
